We've been trying to find time to make it to Bodie one more time before it's closed later this summer (due to the State's budget situation). I'll have to keep an eye on this thread to see what others come up with for when we go.

If you ever come up further north to Hope Valley (hwy 88 near Carson Pass), then I could give you lots of directions to 4wd accessible lakes and mines. That's all we've been doing lately.

I actually wanted to go to Lundy lake but work prevented me from doing so, but i am looking to take a trip up there around the end of August timeframe. Lundy Lake and also the Alamo which is in Valencia * hint * *hint* looking for more than myself and the dog..

Looks like we're going to Bodie Tuesday (July 21). Maybe we'll see you there!

Bodie

If we make it tuesday, it will be late morning early afternoon. I plan on fishing the Virginia Lakes in the early morning and going there right after.
