===don't understand truck owner nowaday.... I can't sell my truck???

It takes me 4 months to find the truck for my dad (2001 Tacoma SR5, Xtra cab, Auto 60k miles, 4cyl ). It is perfect truck for this high gas prices because it runs on 4cyl and 2x4....etc.
I got it last year for $7,500 (2008).

This week, I posted on Craigslist for sale because dad move to another country and only asking $6,500.... there are people calling and take a look then 2 said like the truck, but need to talk to wife, then never call back.
1 guy said...I though it is a prerunner.
1 man said...oh, I love the 4x4.
1 man said I preferred the V6.
some other called, but never show up.

Very weird....I don't understand why people don't know the value of this truck? very reliable, runs like new, only 60k miles, great gas mileage for a truck and nothing wrong with it... selling just because we just don't need it anymore...after a week, no one buying it yet!!!! very surprised me. usually this is the best selling truck and selling like hot cake at this price.!!!!

Let wait and see who is the smart guy buying my truck.....

Finally, I sold it for $6400.
The buyer is the one who own the same truck before....his truck was totaled couple weeks ago.
After he bought, he said this is great deal. very hard to find and best truck ever own.....
shames for those who didn't buy by making up some reasons not to buy it ...
So, only those who own tacoma know the values of it.

Your poor English and sentence structure may have made some people hesitant to buy from you. Not to mention, this market isn't the greatest for selling things.

economy has a lot to do with buying things. look but if you can not turn it over for a profit make a cheesy excuse and move on.

A big thing is that if people are gonna throw down money like that they usually want 4x4. Especially for alot of us that have nasty winters
