Im currently driving an 08 Tacoma TRD 4 door manual. I absolutely love the truck, but at the same time hate the payments. My girlfriend also needs a new car that id like to help her with so im really considering selling it and getting a little bit older one.

My questions are on maintenance. Is there a certain milage where you start to see problems? I bought a toyota because I was tired of having my car in the shop all the time.

Any advice or personal stories would be a big help in my decision. Thanks

What do you mean by 'older'? Previous generation (2001 - 2004)? Even older? An earlier specimen of the 2005+ generation (say, 2005 or 2006)?
