Spent a nice Alberta summer fussing over my garage. The house is now a year old and the garage came drywalled and insulated. I was just going to do an epoxy floor and paint the walls, but I went all out. It didn't cost a whole lot as I was able to do all the work in my spare time. The hardest part was mudding and sanding; and it taught me to hire a pro to do my basement this fall!
G-floor from Costco
Torin tool box from Costco
Gorilla shelf unit from Costco
Cabinets from Canadian Tire
Check plate supplied and cut by Russel Metals

Pretty sweet - I've been debating the checkerplate floor covering from Costco or the Epoxy Floor Coating. I have a floor drain which steers me away from the checkerplate - but the epoxy needs several days to cure and I don't want to leave the sport bikes, snow-blower, lawn mower, tool chest etc in the driveway open to thieves for a couple of days.
What were the dimensions of the Costco checker plate stuff? What do you like most? Least? Why did you opt from the Epoxy?
