I am a family of 4.

3 year old and a 2 year old.

We fit decent in the truck, but would rather be in the wife's CRV, Bigger in the back. If we didn't have the car seats you could fit 4 comfortable, 5 a little tight.

We have a double cab 2010 Tacoma and comfortably seat our family of four. Children are 5 years old and 2 years old. Older child is in a Britax booster (Frontier) and the younger child is in a Britax Roundabout carseat. Primary family hauler is our 2007 Honda Odyssey, but truth be told the boys prefer the truck. Must be a boy thing... :-)

family of 4 for me. 6yr old and 2yr old. we fit fine till we buy stuff... then its cramped inside. so we usually tool around in the wife's 08 4runner sport. way more room. I wouldnt recommend the taco as a family daily driver unless you put on a canopy or bed cover so you can store the extra stuff in the bed to leave room for the kids legs.

Right. I bought a tonneau cover, and the bed divider. Now the bed of the truck acts like a trunk. Does just fine.
