x-runner-phobics in TN?....likely.

Nobody replied to my question about the x-runner style double cab, I can now conclude you are mostly against Street trucks...
Well, a lot viewed my tread but no replies, i guess thats better than childish replies, implying that a truck that is not "off road oriented" is.....
thats a little too closed minded these days, but prob thats why a lot of people only follow the mainstream....
to those who look for new breeds and uses for their trucks, more than off-roading.
"Lifted truck" is just mainstream these days, thats why there is a huge market, it looks good, but I wouln'd get a true answer if I started a poll to ask how much Off roading do Lifted Truck owners really do to justify their expenses.

I go once a week.
My modifications are purposeful and only useful to me off road.

As far as a double cab street truck goes, that'd be kind of neat. There was a company that made a lowering kit for the 6-lug trucks. They had a kit on a double cab and I thought it looked pretty good. If I had money to blow, I would probably own two taco's, one for street, and one for offroad.

Thats pretty cool man.
Maybe I will try that poll one day.
I have noticed a lot more Tacoma owners from previous gens using their trucks to take their bikes off road or modified their fenders and suspensions, and Im not against off roading at all.
With gas prices and green efforts, I hope the smaller trucks like ours get more recognition and more options in the future for daily drivers and cargo commuters.
By any chance, do you know if Stability Control was available for 06 Tacomas?
It comes standard now on 2010s.
Thanks again man, you seem to be the only reply I will get.
