I have not been around for a while, and I don't see any recent posts by Toku58.
Can anybody tell me if he is still around, or what happened?
Thanks!

Some crap went down cause he removed every pic of his truck from TN. Just take a look at his build thread.
Like many others with him as the topic since his absence, this thread wont last long..
The only reason past threads were deleted or closed was when they descended into a TN versus TW war. We consider TW a sister forum and don't want to spur any bad blood by accident or intent. Anyway, just wanted to add that for some perspective, but by all means discuss away....

Much appreciated . There are quite a few of us that wondered what happened, but no one seems to have the whole story. Toku was a big part of TN for a long time, and then bam, he's gone.
He had a new baby a while back and he wanted to be a better father to his kid and spend more time with the baby.
Yeah that's the story we've gotten before, and I'm sure that's the biggest part of it. But why would he delete every single pic of his truck on TN, and why is his build so heavily edited by mods even as of 9/30/09 (with on the first post) by Dana_15? And after he edited his own build thread there were changes made and posts deleted by mods...why? All you have to do is look at the first post in this thread Indigo Taco's unite! and wonder why he would say that. But I guess now that I've pointed that out it will be edited???
Just wondering whats up, seemed like things really slowed down after Toku split, makes me wonder what even I missed. I'm glad to see things picking back up, I surf many sites but always seem to spend most of my time here. And when you do spend so much time at a place you get to know people. It's up to you mods and admins if you want to answer these questions or not, your the law around here.
I heard from him a couple of weeks ago. He's doing well, spending alot of quality time with his son and get this-He's gotten into dirt bikes and MotoX. He loves it !
He said to tell everyone here hello.
(sorry, I forgot until now when I saw this thread)
i really liked reading his write-ups and helpful info. he's a bright guy and i will miss the threads of his that used to have pics in them. it's nice to see that he hasn't been forgotten and also this thread was helpful to inform everyone, especially me, as to how and why he's gone. thank you toku for all the great help!
I should have appreciated and respected the guy more than I did. Brian is a good guy and deserved better. He helped make this site what it is today and is deeply missed.
Hi guys!
I'm still alive and doing really well. I do miss TN, and all of the great friends I made over the years. It is unfortunate that Autofuroms purchased TN. Their views on how the forum should be run. (For Profit) Wasn't my views, and the way I was trying to help TN develop. (Into a members first forum, Not a profit first forum)
It is sad when a big business takes over, and has no clue to what made TN so great in the first place. (The members!)
I'm sure the forum is still good! Autoforums just had policies that I could not enforce, or support. I wasn't in a position that I could do what I felt needed to be done to keep TN the way it was.
Basically I was told, it would be their way or the highway? So I chose the highway!
There will never be another forum like the original TN.(and that's sad)
I have been asked to return to TN, but on principle & integrity, I cannot.
This has absolutely no reflection on any of you. (My issue is with autoforums)
But I have every confidence that Dana, Allen, and all the Moderator are doing the best they can for everyone. (Despite Autoforums agenda)
I can't put in the time and effort to make, or help TN to be better, Because I feel they (Autoforums) just doesn't care about the the members.
But please let everyone know that I am always here. If anyone needs anything, or if I can help in any way? I am always willing. (I still answer 3-4 PM's a day over at TW) No matter how busy I am, I will always make time to lend a hand if needed.
They can PM me over at TacomaWorld.com or they can contact me directly through Email.
Thanks for all your, and everyones kind words about me.
