The snorkel is the black pipe that runs from the driver's side of the air box towards the bottom of the car. Yes it can be put back on to bring it in for warranty work.

Ok buddy, show me an xrs dyno pushing 192-194 w/ intake and exhaust. That's an increase in 30HP!!! Just because you read that, "This *insert name* intake will give you 20HP!!" doesn't mean that it will.
