Gen5 switched 2 sealed

i switched my Alpine 10" to a sealed box. it was originally in a generic, slot-ported box. it sounded loud at certain frequencies, but poor and blurred bass at other times. i did some calculations and the reason for the inconsistent bass was that the ported box was smaller than the recommended volume. its at 0.90cuft when it needs 1.2cuft. plus, i couldnt change the length of the port to the real specs.

i now have the sub in a small sealed box, within the recommended volume range. right off the bat, i could hit the lower notes better and drums n bass guitar notes sound more clean. i havent tried to push the sub hard yet, i'll do that in the morning, its already night here, ha!
