My location is Japan.

These are extremely hard to get anymore - OEM TOYOTA NEW OLD STOCK. I have them for sale on ebay.

where was the original location of them on the truck?

This set is new so it was never installed.

When a dealer installs these they are installed onto an exsisting brush gaurd, light bar, cattle gaurd.

Some have installed these directly on thier bumpers.

These are standard one hole mounting type lights - put them whereever you like very easily.
