I bought it for my '07 Tacoma, so will fit the '05+ models. It is a non-JBL unit.

It will fit directly into the Tacoma. This is the exact stereo you would have received if you had ordered the 6-disc stereo from the factory. It will be a direct plug and play replacement of the single-disc stereo.
