I got it to reduce some back-pressure by removing one of the cat's. And I did not like the squish pipe. After I put it on, I felt no increase in the butt-dyno (hp) and I really did not like the new cross-over location. It now crosses between the first and second cross-members instead of behind the second (it seems more vulnerable there, to me). Since my
truck is stock with only a aFe CAI, with no headers or other mods, it really is not doing me any good. Also, after I took my stock pipe off, I noticed that on the driver's side, they up-sized the pipe, so that when they squished it, it still had the same flow volume. As a side bar, there is no noticeable sound difference.
