I bought this thinking that I could control my iPod from the radio. I bought the cheaper model which will only play the iPod through the stereo and will charge every model except the iTouch and iPhone....I have an iTouch. I also bought the charger module for the iTouch/iPhone which was an extra $25. After a couple weeks of use I decided that I want full control over my iPod with my steering wheel controls, so I bought the upgrade model.

For sale is a GROM Audio Aux Adaptor. It comes with the Toyota plug cable, the iPod cable, installation manual and the remainder of the 1 year warranty...you can get the headphone plug and RCA cables from Grom if you would rather have those.

is the end that plugs into the box for the ipod side a headphone style jack?

Nope if you want that style connector you'd have to buy the cable, this one has the Ipod flat rectangular connection on it

no i mean the other end that plugs into the box that has the GROM label on it

No it is more like a round connector with pins inside like a mouse connector (non usb style).

Will this replace the Sat radio? My Taco has Sat radio and I really wouldn't like it if I didn't have to chose between one or the other.

Not at all, this one has a Y connector, one end goes into the external CD changer port on the back of the CD player and what ever was plugged into that port can be plugged into the other Y connector. In the picture you can see the male and female ends, male goes into the radio female is for what was in the radio......usually it is nothing though as most don't have external CD changers
