I have a trailer hitch off a new 2009 Toyota Highlander part # PT228-69080. Same one used on the 2008 as well. The hitch was lighlty damaged on the lot when I took it in for service. Toyota replaced the hitch and I asked to keep the hitch since they were going to junk it. I figured someone could easily bend the two damaged plates back. I have included pictures to show you where the damage is. The little plate that holds the wiring harness is slighlty bent and the metal bracket above the hitch was bent as well. The rest of the hitch is in great conditon. This factory Toyota hitch sells for $450 brand new and a bargan if you want to take the time to straighten the the two brackets. Does not come with any hardware requires M10 x 1.25 x 35mm bolts.
