They’re noisy, slow and even a little dorky so why would anybody choose to own a Toyota Yaris or a Honda Fit?
Loads of reasons! If you live in a crowded city, parking and traffic jams are both become exponentially more painful in a big car. Hence the desire for sub-compact cars. Oh, and the price doesn’t hurt either.
I driven both cars, Yaris just wasn't 2015. Honda Fit seems like it offers more than Yaris. I ended up buying new Corolla S, I am super happy with it. It is way safer and less quiet than a subcompact vehicle.

Probably why the Yaris isn't selling well. Of course gas prices then again that's temporary.
I think many more potential buyers of the cars can't get financing. Honda and Toyota have stricter guidelines when it comes to loans..they're much looser at a Chevy, Nissan or Kia dealer...hence why those cars have higher sales.
