Toyota has taken to the 2017 Chicago Auto Show to reveal the refreshed 2018 Toyota Tundra.
The biggest news for 2018 is that Toyota is adding a TRD Sport
model to the Tundra. For looks, the TRD Sport
is set apart by its color-keyed mirrors and hood scoop along with 20-inch alloy silver wheels, smoked chrome bezels on the LED headlights, TRD Sport graphics, and a choice between five different exterior colors. On the inside, the shift knob and floor mats get special TRD badging.
The package isn’t only about looks though, as TRD Sport models also get Bilstein shocks and TRD-tuned front and rear anti-sway bars.
Across the lineup the Tundra has some styling revisions, although they are pretty minor. Top trim Limited and 1794 Edition modes will receive a new billet style grille
while select trims will add a new mesh grille. LED headlights, daytime running lights and fog lights will come with the Limited, Platinum and 1794 models, while just the headlights and fog lights will come with the TRD Off-Road package selected on SR5 models. Basic SR and SR5 trim trucks get new halogen headlights and LED daytime running lights.
