I voted for 17" for my 09 Corolla S, 07 Matrix & 95 Previa. For my 89 MR2 & 94 Corolla it would be 16" but that wasn't a choice???????

I'd go with 17" for fuel economy and comfort, maybe 18", but also I don't think it's always true that "big tires=nice car", it depends on the size of the car

4th Generation

okay so whats the point of this question asking what rim size some one prefers doesnt make since if you dont have a specific car in mind

like lets use my 88 celica for example its got factory 14's and i would rather have those than 17's because that wouldnt look very good

but now think about a 2010 dodge challenger if you put anything smaller than a 20 inch tire on one of them things it would just look stupid

so it all depends on the car

I have been riding on 18's for the past 2 years. They've seemed comfy enough for me thus far and provide a smooth enough ride. Bridgestone Potenza RE92. I found them here, at Mavis Discount Tire.
