Removing Weight from a 78

I am doing a build up on a 78 Corona to turn it into a drag car. Can someone please let me in on the best ways to lighten it up? I know the curb weight was around 2500, and I am hoping to get it down to 2000-2200. I have already taken the bumpers off (40 lbs a piece!). The set up I am working on will put out 250+ hp to the wheels and if I can get the weight down, I'm hoping to get low 12's. Any help is appreciated.

Engine Question

We did a swap. We took out the 20R that was in it and put a Volvo B230F (inline 4 cyl) outfitted with a Mitsubishi 15g turbo in its place.

Remove the interior, spare tire. Get a smaller battery (Odissey PC680 for instance)....get rid of the A/C.....power steering.....radio/ CD player/ Navi (if you have one)....all the door panels.
Replace the wheels with something light (if you haven't done it yet)...
I'm sure there is a lot more to remove...just can't think of anything right now.

No way that car was 2500# out of the factory. Anyway, like they said remove everything that isn't necessary to make it run.
