We have just replaced a front oil seal in a 1986 manuel sedan and now the engine will not fire. All the timing marks appear to be lined up. Does anyone have any clues please.

Hi there first are you getting any spark? Check the coil and distributor wiring and connectors the most likely place for a no fire problem.

Hi Joe,
We will check it out, although the car was running exceptionally well before the seal was replaced.

The engine would not even fire but eventually got it going, now its had an altercation with a very large Kangaroo and is off the road for repairs.
