USA Seat switchout

I wouldn't mind switch from a bench seat to bucket seats. Does anyone know of an easy substitution for a 79 Corona?

2 seats
8 bolts
2 floorpan seatbelt buckles

1 drill

ive personally never swapped from a bench to buckets but i bet the exsisting holes should be pretty close to bolting up, but ANY celica (rwd) seat should come pretty close.

ive also got 89 celica seats in my 75 hilux, but it came with buckets originally

Cool, I imagine the big diff is the lack of inner seat tracks on both sides.

no the tracks are attached to the seat, or come with it. a bench seat has 4 mount points and 2 rails where a bucket has 4 mount points and 2 rails for each seat.

Yeah, that's what I said. Anyway, I agree with you inner track attachment would have to be added. Seat belts would change some, but finding seat belts for these old cars is very difficult. My personal policy is only to purchase brand new seat belts.
