I am about to start driving my '93 camry, and take my '78 corona off the road as a daily driver. as much as i love this car, i must part with it.
i am not in a big rush to sell, since i have another car. i'm not gonna get lowballed on the price, since this one is in great shape. i know its hard to find the value on these cars since there so few and far in between tho.
so basically the point of this topic is...
my '78 corona is going to be up for sale in the near future.
ill post newer pics when i'm ready to sell. but in the mean time run a search on me and you can find one on this forum.. possible in the international corona pics forum.
ill sum the car up...
-1978 Toyota Corona
-20R with no visible leaks. (the power steering resevoir does leak a bit)
-5 Speed
-COLD A/C!!!!!!
-Power Steering
-the odometer functions and reads 13000ish
im going to take the old mans word that i bought it from that it has 213000 on it
-the car is ALL original, with the exception of it having been repainted.
-the only thing i did was basic tune up stuff and replaced the distributor
-the exterior is straight, with only a few road debris dings and some light fender well rust, and a slightly tweaked front bumper from a different owner. NO STRUCTURAL RUST WHATSOEVER
-the interior is overall good. seats are great, most of the plastic is good, with some minor cracks/chips. the dash is pretty sundamaged(nice carpet cover over that

)
Ill post pics and more info later.
I haven't decided on a price just yet either.
For the last 2 months, this car has been a carefully driven daily driver.
It has NEVER failed to start on me. the motor runs strong and smoothly.
i even got the original dealer sticker with this car, which says it averages 23mpg.
it still averages 23mpg
i havent done any long highway drives, but i imagine it also get 29mpg on the highway like the sticker says.
anyway, im going to sleep. sorry for the poor arrangment of this. i probably left some stuff out. ill let everyone know what is up with this car. feel free to ask any questions!
