RT105 brake/suspension questions....

..Yeah,that is alot to ask,I know... :P

-So first off, anybody make any adjustable shocks for these cars,as I have figured out that I could use mustang II/pinto shocks in the front but there really are only good drag shocks available for those. And I am building a track/drift/fun car..so stiff wont be a problem. Ideas?I can find KYB's/monroe's but that is it.

-Next up is sways,I am going to use a 99' miata (EDIT,hits the inside of the tires)front sway bar on it as it is 1mm larger and I can heim joint the ends, but the rear is a different story(has leafs),I am considering using the front stock sway, and mounting it to the rear with u-bolts/bushings and then heim joints to the frame?Any input?Should i run a panhard bar as well? I am new to leaf rear, but would like to have little to no roll.

-Thoughts on traction bars?I understand how they work in a straight line but do they have advantages/disadvantages in corners,or daily use/misuse

-And brakes, any easy upgrades as far as front calipers/rotors go..or am I going the full custom route..

And a pic of her last night as she traveled outside of the garage for the first time!

for sway bars i would go for a 82-85 celica front bar. for the rear it doesnt reall matter where ya get it from, but might be able to source one from a newer truck...

as far as shocks go, good luck. there wont be much listed as fitting these cars. but it sounds like your on the right path towards finding something that works.

a panhard bar is a decent idea, just make sure to make it adjustable. they will shift the axl side to side in movement. but yes definitly do something about axl wrap.

traction bars- no personal experience, but from what i know i wouldnt do it. they seem to only be "working" in a launch situation.

good luck on the brakes, there is nothing ive found. maybe some odd random aussie retailer would have em. but most likely they will have to be custom one off. you might get lucky and get a newer pickup spindle to bolt up. i want to try that myself.

the main problem your going to find with a corona, is most people think its a beer. and there is very little aftermarket support for em, what there is is labeled for a celica/pickup and just happens to work on a corona.

if you do find stuff that works be sure to share

Thanks man!...I did find that addco makes a 1" bar for the front, and a 3/4 bar for the rear.So I may go with those..I will surely keep you posted on the progress
