3S-GE swap? Or if you're hungry for absurt amounts of power: 3S-GTE

But 1998 and then still a carb??

yups sorry its 1989, i just got the car although it says in the registration 1991 Toyota Corona but in the body template its say engine 3SF - 1989, anyway im having problems with the engine now, the idle is bad and it runs like the carb is not tuned especially when hot, i have done a compression test and all cylinders are at 180 psi, the no 4 cylinder spark plug is black and sometimes with oil unlike the 1 to 3 which are brown, i also have a leak in the o ring of the distributor dont know if its inside or beside the valuve cover, some say its the ignitor in the distributor or the carb needs cleaning, i plan to get a carb kit and start with the carb then the o-ring for the distributor, does anyone have manual or a diagram of the carbs and distributor for the 3SF engine it would help alot

According to Wikipedia that would be a 3S-GE engine.
