Lightbulb Toyota Corona Carburator Needs Tune

Hi guys

I have a Toyota Corona 1988 1.8L Carburetor, I really need it tuned....
There is black smoke coming out of the exhaust, not much
What I really want to know is how to adjust the Air and Fuel so it runs properly...

I have looked around the carburetor unit, and cannot see anything except an idle speed adjuster

Please can someone help me on this

Cheers Marc

disclaimer:

i am not familiar with your car, this is general advice based off of observations of tons of yota carbs across a bunch of years.

toyota sets the mixture at the factory, and on most carbs you have to drill out a plug to adjust it.

it is way more likely that you have a malfunctioning emissions system then the carb needs adjustment.

i would check ALL vacuum lines for cracks/stiffness/ or being plugged. if you havent changed the vac lines yourself or had it done in the last couple years i would do that. just do one line at a time so as to not get confused.

best of luck , wish i could help more.
