New user, i need suggestions for my 69

So i've had this for quite a few years, and have now sparked an interest in it as a project. its a 1969 corona 4dr automatic. my first step(besides getting it running) is to lower it(preferably coilovers not airbags) any suggestions would be appreciated.

ps. sorry about the pictures, they were taken on my cell phone. I'll post better pics when i can

yes its a pos, so please dont hate. like i said its a project

What I was told about my Corona ( I have the same one) is that you don't even need a kit to lower it. You can just get under it and do some adjusting. My boyfriend says he could do it in a day and it would be simple.

If I had the money to do what you are doing I would tint the windows and paint it first. I want to make mine flat black.

I just bought a white 69 automatic across the border in Idaho. Where abouts in WA are you? I agree, don't tint those windows.

What all do you need to do to get it running. Any other pictures would be awesome.

Good deal..I was considering also swapping my Corona, using a 2rz motor. If the measurements work, it will just BARELY fit lengthwise. It's a really small engine compartment.

Hows the interior in your car?

First thing you need to do is get it out of those weeds, and put a cover on it. The moisture out there will rust the hell out of it. Good luck.

yeahh its a 1.9 in it stock, so i figure the 1.6 4ag shouldnt be too hard to fit. and the interior minus a few small tears is in good shape.

I pulled this out of a guys front yard, which was literally a swamp. I wish I would have gotten a picture of where i pulled it out of, but it was night time when we loaded it up. It sat for 8 years, so there was literally moss growing on the whole car. Here's a before and after we took it to the carwash picture.

and an interior shot..

I really want to get to restoring this thing, cleaning up the rust, and making it a cool little cruiser.

I was also thinking going 4age, simply for the space.

I'm not really sure yet. I think i want to match the paint scheme with wheels...and i haven't really figured out what color i want to do just yet. I need to do the rust repair first.
