Electrical Gremlin

Ok, so this has to be more than a coincidence... my 1980 is blowing the fuse for guages - water temp, fuel, warning lights, backup lights etc. This car is like new, only 90k, always garaged... no bad wires etc. It's driving me crazy. Spoke to a guy over the weekend who just bought a '79 for his kid to be a first car - 140k - nice little car. Low and behold they have the exact same issue! Can't be a coincidence... how about it? Anyone else? what was the solution? Thanks very much.

Which fuse location is that? Is it one of the half-length fuses?

fuse

No, according to my manual, it's a 10 amp - fulll length fuse that controls guages and back up lights.
