1980 Corona

My grandfather(original owner) has a 1980 Corona w/ 90K original miles...garage kept its entire life and maintained by a Toyota dealer. Original paint in excellent condition. The windshield and tail light are cracked but its otherwise in excellent condition overall. Just trying to get an idea of what its worth if I decide to sell it...

How available are parts for these cars? I've tossed around the idea of keeping it and fixing it up.

Thanks!

It's worth whatever somebody will pay for it. Not a penny more.

Some pics might be a help. It is a bit of a rare vehicle, but a lot depends on the car's options. It's not like finding a rare Ferrari in a garage, but I bet it has a decent value.

the car is out of state....its a "deluxe" model i think? its a beige-khaki color

i know nothing about these old toyotas. they seem to be very popular now and i don't want to give it away. is $500 a fair price as-is? apart from the damage its in excellent condition

If it's a running driving example with little rust, it could easily be worth double that and more. It really depends on finding that guy that wants one.

Posting some pics and a for sale on places like this one might generate some interest.

You better sell it fast on ebay.com while it's still worth $1500-3000, because if you don't, you'll be so bored with the car you'll end up modifying it with Weber carbs, larger wheels and tires, etc., which will destroy it's collector car value.

Serious collectors will not be turned off by the windshield and taillight crack as those items can be fairly easily fixed.
