Molding Lexan? Hmm... I'm not firmilar with that at all. But I have played with that idea before.

DX lights are textured, right? Either way, there will be glare, unless the housing was designed to accept HID bulbs. Cars that have HID headlights without the use projectors use a variation of the bulb called D2R, which has a painted shield on the bulb itself to reduce glare.

Also oem HID kits don't have high beam function like H4 bulbs, unless you get those aftermaket (ricer) kits.
