I recommend speakers by Elemental Designs. Especially for the $$ you are looking to spend, you would be wasting it on big company products. Elementals stuff is unbeleivable and the savings you get since they are an internet only company makes it even better.
I have their subs in my Camry and will soon be adding their high end compnents. Now I said high end....they are only $250!!!! One of the car mags (dont remember which one) has had several very positive reviews of there equipment.
And everyone talking about MB quart and Diamond. Yes, 2-5 years ago these companies were the #@&*, but both have been bought by larger companies and not made quite like they used to be. Still decent speakers, but they are just using the name to sell inferior equipment.
Same thing that happened to Kicker and Rockford Fosgate in the late 90's.
