I don't understand what's confusing about my posts. All I wanted was a fast (0-60) car that is quiet--I didn't think that was too much to ask for. I have been reading (here and elsewhere) about people raving about how fast the V6 is--I was wondering what I'm missing or if those people just had much lower expectations than I do.
I did test drive a V6 before I purchased, but I didn't redline that car either as it had 7 miles on it, I believe and I knew that wasn't going to be my car (was an XLE).
I wanted to hear more opinions of people that actually own the 07 V6--so far I think only 1 or 2 people have responded that could answer how fast the car seems to them.
My main problem comes down to that I'm a perfectionist in life and expect way more than is usually possible (apparently). My wife has complained about how hard it is to live with a perfectionist, but it's even harder being one :-(
So, my final question is, is the Camry as wicked fast as people have said it is (and thus I'm missing something) or were people overstating how fast of a car it really is?
