The parking lights does flash after I stopped the engine and locked/unlock it. But it will no longer flash after a while. I'm not sure how long that "a while" is. Usually, when I'm returning to my Camry. It does not flash. I don't know why it is behaving like that.

Thats strange.
The parking lights are suppose to flash when you lock/unlock. Or arm/disarm with alarms.
Maybe you have a faulty unit and/or improper installation.
