My AE92

Hi everyone, this is my first car, an AE92 and I absolutely love it. However in it's current condition I feel like it is only showing a fraction of it's true potential. I was wondering if anyone would know how much it would cost to convert the auto transmission to manual, and does anyone know where I can get body kits for it? This is a 4dr version of the AE92.

Would you be able to do th manual conversion yourself, if not then selling the car and buying a manual is the only smart move.

Body kits for the 4dr? I don't even think there are any. you'd be better off going with a JDM front conversion.

Anything done with the exterior would have to be custom work

the guy who bought my JDM front fascia is selling it again at Corolla-Customz coz lack of time or funding. but i'd check it out if i were you.

Or you could probably swap the flip-up front end from the two door on to the four door. Bomex kit might fit. This guy looks like he read my suggestion of attempting to use a body kit for the 91-94 Sentra.



Hideous. Go with a lip, or just drop it with some KSports. Better than any body crap anyways, performance and looks FTW.

I believe Razzi made a body kit for it at one time, I saw it on extremedimensions.com a few years back but I haven't seen it since.

Seriously, the sedans are better off with the JDM front end swaps.

Those first two are sprinters. The body is the same as the AE92 Liftback, except they're sedans. The fenders and doors are incompatible with the regular sedan.

hmm... visually they look the same, compare the white sprinter to the small picture of the silver sedan and they pretty much follow the same lines.

Actually they dont, the sun makes it hard to see on the white sprinter, so look at the gray one and you see the body lines are different.. WAY different.

hmm... true, door panels appear a little different; have you ever tried this swap before?

The sprinters look similar to the US Spec AE92 Geo Prizms, here's Mig's old car for a comparison.




PS, my dad is busting those wheels on his AE101 after migs parted it out.
