4AGE igniter questions?

Well my problem is my car wont start. It has no spark. I changed the ecu I changed the distributer, made sure i had power going everywhere yet car still has no spark. So i wanna just bypass the igniter. So my question is that if i take the two wires going from the dist. to the igniter and run it to lets say an msd box on the magnetic pick up side would it work?

if you bypass the igniter, what good would it do. Igniter is the one that turns the negative side of the coil off. Without it you wont get spark nevertheless.

Well i heard that if you use the magnetic pickup in the distributor and run the two wires to the magnetic pickup plug on the msd then the msd becomes your igniter.

no.... using a toyota ecu there is no way to bypass the ignitor......

if you think it's the ignitor, then replace the ignitor..... they do go out at times....

and I hope you replaced all of your parts with the correct parts.... 4age's have at least 2 different ignition systems (16V/us) and they aren't comperable......
