AE92 Clutch rattling when car starts

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for a solution to a couple of problems with my 1990 AE92 GTS. Hopefully the great minds on this forum can give me a hand.

For some reason, when I depress the pedal to start the car, there is this loud rattling/ tapping sound that comes from under the hood. After the car starts and if I immediately release the clutch, the rattling noise will stop. If I keep the clutch depressed, the rattling will go on for a little long then it will go away on it's own. Does anyone know what the problem is?

My second question is my reving, when rev the engine hard, there is this split second delay and shaking before the gas kicks in and the car goes, this happens when I drive as well as when I rev the car in neutral....any ideas?

Thanks in advance, these problems have been haunting me for a while now...

Noise is probably the clutch fork throwout bearing. If I remember right it only spins when you press the clutch in.
Rev problem is a little harder to say. Could be a vaccuum leak.
