ever heard of this?

Hi guys , just bought a 74 corolla and trying to find out if it is possible for a 2jz-gte tt with a 6 sp.? is it possible? anybody out there that heard of this swap before ?

yes its possible, but not cheap though.

I've seen a few RWD Corollas with engines like the 1UZFE (V8), 7MGTE, 1JZ/2JZGTE, 3SGE/GTE, etc.

Here's a TE72 (1980-83) Corolla with the 1UZFE V8 swapped in.

the problem here is that the 2jz-gte is a inline 6 and a very long engine your gonna have to move the radiator in front of the front cross member and then cut up the firewall and trans tunnel to make it fit.

Somewhere someone put a 2jz in a AE86 i saw that on here about a year and a half ago.

another engine to consider would be a beams 3S-GE out of an altezza or IS200 from japan obviously theres some money involved if your thinking about a 2JZ

Are you kidding me? That thing sounds amazing. A little corolla that sounds like an old muscle car with a little nascar rev to it lol. I think if it was any lower pitched it would be to low sounding for the look of the car. And resonator? what would you want it to be quiet after putting a motor like that in
