Unhappy just bought 92 corolla need advice

I just bought a 92 corolla and am looking to begin tuning it. This will be my first tuner project. I am open to all advice from engine swaps and turboing to how to change from drum to disc brakes. I need to put a new exhaust on it so any advice on that will help too. so if you can help me please do.
Thanks
ryan

Slow Down...

idleabomination...just too let you know tuning a Corolla is bit challenging compare to it's brothers and it's rivals. It is possible, but after-market parts are hard to find and overprice! My advice, is ALWAY research before jumping on it!

USA tuning a corolla

Hi I was a tunershop owner in south texas fo a number of years. First you didnot say if it was a stick or a slush box. This is very important first try a K&N air filter to see how the moter respons to the intake aspect. For your exhust try a 40 seires flow master if money is not in the card for a complete exhust system. Specific parts are expensive but the parts are interchangeable with celica. A celica gt motor the code i don,t know off the top of my head but it is a almost perfect swap for your car . I hope this helps you a little
