Unless you find someone who doesn't know what it is, it will cost you. (initial d tax).

I see your in TX, there is a thread in here where a guy found two hatches in a junkyard in TX. Another place is hachiroku.net, but I have had pretty good luck with club4ag and ebay. I haven't paid over 1200 for one yet (4 gts coupes, 3 sr5 coupes). Good luck in your search.

RUST, check the spare tire well, the rear shock towers where they meet the trunk floor, floorboards, and front strut towers just above the framerails. Texas cars shouldn't be nearly as bad as they are here in the midwest.

Coupes are usually easier to find. Hatches cost a fortune (initial d tax). Spend some time looking and find a clean low mileage GTS, you will be glad you did.

Check out this article from dorikaze.ca, and check out some of their other articles while you are at it, very informative.

I have found cars for anywhere from $100-$10000. If you want a nice gts hatch, I would say your going to pay at LEAST $2000.
