i have a 19080 corolla wagon and i am thinking about putting a 2jz gte motor in it and i just want some feed back on how hard this really could be.thanks
No, it won't be easy.. It can be done, but not easy. Here's a sample of a similar but probably even more difficult swap; 1UZFE V8 into a 1980 TE72 Corolla.
You have to remember, now you have to custom fit everything; from the motor mounts to the transmission mounts, you'll probably need the Supra rear end or at least one that will take the power that the 2JZ can give; on top of this now you need suspension work and probably upgrade your wheels and tires.

Guys he has a corolla from the future, of course it can be done. Anything is possible in the year 19080!!!!
FYI.. that AE86 has more room than a normal TEXXs. see how the rad support had to be cut and move the rad and intercooler further to the front. well that gap you have between rad and bumper doesn't exist in a 1980 Corolla. so there you go, unless you wanna move the dashboard then it'll be tough. the 1UZ will be easier coz it's wider not longer.
that being said.. why not just stick with your 3T and boost it?
