100k maintenance at this age?

hello everyone!

as I posted a short while back, my 1986 corolla has passed the 100k mark on the odometer. I was wondering what should replaced for normal maintenance, and if there's anything else I should do with the car just reaching this mileage now and being of age.

just had the axle replaced that was making noise, replaced the brake pads and had the rotors resurfaced

I would say timing belt, plugs, and PVC valve. Definitely check coolant, tranny fluid, all belts and hoses.

well what did you do before so we don't tell you what you've done already

and maintenance items have a time constraint, not just mileage

the timing belt was replaced a year or two back, not many miles put on since.

I believe the fuel filter was more recently replaced as well.

I definitely need new sparkplugs, my exhaust smells strongly of CO at times and the response seems a little sluggish. any recommendations on which kind are better?

don't know about the PVC valve's state. I'll have to check that when it's slightly less crappy outside.
