sorry I don't have the time and money to rebuild my 21 year old car. college student; got more important things to do than pool all my money into this takeout rice-box
that's great that you love your old school toyotas and keep them in good shape. there's nothing wrong with running them hard, if you're maintaining that engine, might want to be a bit careful though if you don't know the first thing about repairing them.

JUST KEEP THE RACING FOR THE TRACK AND OFF THE STREET

watch yourself. you don't want to go around starting fires before you hardly get into the forest.

P.S. Please! enough with the caps lock!

how about swapping the F20 or F22 from the Honda S2000 into your hachi-roku?? its been done before and its pretty awesome. unfortunately, it is a bit expensive cause its labor intensive. if you want something thats bang for the buck, how about the 4agze, 4age 20v, or 3sgte? the 7mgte is a 3.0 liter inline 6, so its twice as large as the motor you have right now. stuffing the 7mgte into your 82 celica would make more sense.

if you are really serious about a high performance motor, check out the 7m-gteu.

the f motor is a great motor, 120 hp per liter is pretty amazing along with the 9000 rpm rev limit (a little lower for the F22). still, its a technological marvel. but this is a toyota forum, so why talk about hondas? haha...anyways, if you stuff the formula atlantic 4age 20v motor in your 86, you would be like takumi from initial d! thats if you have $10,000+ to burn.
