Akuma Dori's Hatch Bar

PLEASE CONTACT THE ADMINISTRATORS TO BECOME A VENDOR!

If you're only selling 1 bar you can sell it on the FOR SALE forums, but this is your business so you will need to contact TN's admins to gain vendor status and market your parts here.

Also, please post on the right section next time.

No offence, but hows that going to help chassis rigidity, when it bolts to the thin sheetmetal of the C-pillars and doesnt triangulate with any other part, not to mention it doesnt even connect to the suspension mounting point. I could see some use if it hooked up the rollcage, but even then supporting the suspension (where flexing will occur the most) would be the key thing.

Also as a safety standpoint, I would hate to see what happens in a side impact to the rear quarter, that thing will most likely break off at one or both sides, then you have a random stick flying inside the cabin when your car spins or rolls, wouldnt wanna get clobbered with a 6 pound piece of pipe.

Thank you for your opinion, but we make parts base on our own experience and what suit our driving style. One of the bars thats out there that doesnt help at all would be the Cusco Bar that goes across the rear shock towers where you have to drill a hole through a "THIN SHEET METAL" base from our experience the cusco shock tower brace dont help at all. these c-pillar bars made a dramatic rigidity improvement in terms of high speed drifting.. it made the whole rear more stable. and by the way the c-pillars of the ae86 isn't a thin sheet metal. As far as making this triangulate, we decided not to bring the honda monkey bar style into the ae86, adding all those extra weight wouldnt help at all, instead we'll make a separate bars to make the bottom part rigid.
