HI you guys i just recently had an obsesion for the older corollas...but yea.. umm i got a 81 coroola sedan with the 3tc /5sp.. this car was goona be mai project car it... the i found out the whole thing was a rust bucket..

Hummm... just wondering has anyone in toyotanation swapped a 3tc in the ae86 SR5 b/c i wanna keep it carbed... but i found this link at:

I have actually seen carbed 4AGE's in an AE86. Check out club4ag.com

yea ive had a carbed version 4aga...in a older 76 corolla... b/f but never did get it running like i wantted tooo... that why Im look /need help on the swap.. like any problems im gonna run into type ordeal...

I actually swap in a (82) 3T into my AE86, delloreto side carbs, racing cam, TRD header. and a few other mods. I'm an old school Muscle car person and decided to go with a 86 corolla hatch. I had to fab motor mounts and move the engine forward about 1.5 inches. I drop the engine cross member to make it easier to install. I aslo fab my own power steering lines. The 4ac and 3t have the ac and power steering opposite. The 3t is actually a very strong engine. It can withstand lots of abuse before break down Good for drifters
