definately convert to a 5spd, theres no point trying to extract alot of power with a slushbox on a small displacement engine. i converted my ae82 to 5spd, and it wasnt hard at all. you can use all the parts you need for a ae92 (since theyre usually easier to find). its all bolt in, except for you have to drill a hole in your firewall (for the clutch m.cylinder), but thats easy.
4agze's are really teh best bang for teh buck, but try to get a late model one (ae101, or kouki ae92) as they make significantly more power (theyll be map sensored, not afm). anothert thing to remember is gear box selection, try to get one with an lsd, and if you do get one with a lsd, make sure you get the correct driveshafts, because your stock ones wont work.
gze is bolt in, but its not plug and play, you need to do wiring.
