1974 Corolla-- which adapter kit for a Weber carb?

Hello there,

I have a 1974 Corolla with the 2TC 1600 motor and a stock carb that's missing some pieces that I haven't been able to find (high-idle lever and the secondary diaphragm), but luckily for me, my friend's 80 Plymouth Colt got clobbered in a hit-and-run and I have inherited a very nice Weber aftermarket carb off of it. I believe it's a 32/36 DFEV carb. It's a little bit bigger than will fit on the Corolla's intake, but I'm guessing there's an adapter kit that will make it work. I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out which one it is, though! Weber's website is not very helpful and I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone there. Does anyone have any idea which kit I need?

on a side note; if the carb was being used on a different car, you might need to change the jetting to run properly with your engine

I had found that site, but it doesn't seem to have a specific kit listed for a car in my manufacture date range.

However, upon taking everything apart I figured out that the kit that was on the Colt had all the right parts to go on my Corolla, some of them just had to be moved around a little and I needed to put on different mounting studs. I got the carb on and the thing runs like a champ now.

Thanks for the responses!
