3tc

i got a 82 corolla wagon with a 3tc. looking at trying to lighten up the engine bay area. the smog pump is locked up so that can be piched. how much of those vacume lines and other crap that can be taken off?

i thoguht about getting rid of tha air cleaner for a littler one. but what about all those hoses. can i jus tput a breather on the valve cover and get away with it... there is a handfull of other lines that i have no idea where they lead to...

When i did a 3tc conversion on my 86 corolla I removed just about every smog and hoses I didin't need. I was running side draft carbs. Might make a difference if you are running stock equipment. You should still be able to delete some hose with out effecting performance.

i dont know now... i'm thinking about puting a 1uz in it... i work at a salvage yard in omaha nebraska so i can try and get a deal on it... lol that would make it scoot...
