Canada Help!

I have an 84 corolla sr5 with a 4ac engine.
My question is:
If the #2 spark plug or plug wire wasn't functioning properly, would it cause my car to run rough, stall, and have faulty ignition timing?

Thanks

Well that could really be a bad thing it will ruin the 1 of the 4 basic cycles of the combustion engine.
If that fuel is not bust, it could clogg your engine might burn during the exhaust stage.

also the car will jerk and you will love HP, loss the balance of the crank shaft. etc
4 cycle engines are not the best when come to balance.

so yes you want to replace that wire and what-not. Its really cheap and affordable. plus its an old engine.

The spark plugs and wires are good.

I set the #1 cylinder to top dead centre and it's nowhere near the 0 on the scale.
Here's a pic:
