4agze DLI ignitor interchangable with 7mgte ignitor???

Hi all, I was wondering if the 7mgte ignitor can be used with the ae101 4agze?

My 4agze swap didn't come with an ignitor.

To make matters worse, I can not find an ignitor for the DLI 4agze anywhere.

Please help. Thank you in advance

That sucks balls man, i know how you feel, i bought a swap too and im still looking for parts for it, for me its the map sensor, he stated that the engine didnt come with it and it was a cheap deal, but to find one that works is a pain, have you tried club4ag.com ? i think there it will be easier, ill let you know if i come across one, but as for the 7mgte i doubt it because it has a single coil going to the distributor not coil packs.... Heres the part number off my ignitor and good luck man

AE101 4A-GZE Igniter part # 89620-14440

Thanks for the help. I'll check club4ag. Say, did you try getting the map (turbo pressure sensor) off of other turbo toyota cars such as supra (7mgte)? Man, good luck to you too bro. I hope you find a working map sensor.

If you need to part number, I'll try to get it off of mine. However, i won't be able to see it until i go back to my friend's garage.

I can't see the sensor too well in the picture.

The 4A-GZE MAP sensor is the same as the 2JZ-GTE MAP sensor sold here in North America.

89421-12111 is the part number.

Thanks man.. when i was at the dealership i could only find AFM set ups for the Supra, so i ended up buying a 3SGTE MAP, if it doesnt end up working out I'll pick up a 2jz MAP, thanks alot makes it a hell of a alot easier knowing that, how much does the 2jz MAP read?? 1.5 BAR?

I can't remember off the top of my head, 1.5 sounds familiar.

The reason you probably couldn't find it is because the 2JZ uses both an AFM and a MAP sensor.

All 2JZ-GTE's in North America used the same setup, AFM and MAP.

Yeah I think they did it that way to get an accurate flow reading for emissions purposes, but also to get a very accurate boost reading as well to control all the sequential mumbo-jumbo for the turbos.
