lol ok well, its a start. your fx-16 is pretty potent with the right guidance.

rims, 4x100 bolt pattern. offset stock is +38, stick around that for easy fitment, or go lower for crazy fitments. im rocking a +19, and its pretty aggressive.

intakes, your basically stuck making your own, use quality components, especially filter wise.

turbos...best to research what you would need, there is no bolt on kits. itll take alot of research to do properly.

^^ what he said, it sucks that there isnt really anything out there for these cars, but it give you a chance to learn something, sometimes theres someone selling a used turbo kit that they made and theyre pretty pricey

While the parts aren't common, you can make your FX faster, but like every other, it's not cheap. Most of the stuff is interchangeable with the AE92 Corolla GTS. Like all Corollas, you can do the supercharged, 4AGZE engine swap, 20 valve 4AG20 swap or a later model 4AGE swap (from a 1991-1992 Corolla GT-S. All of these will give you more power than you already have and they bolt in pretty easily since they were offered in front wheel drive applications. Contact Toysport at (310) 643-6432. I bet they can help you. I wouldn't be surprised if the stuff used on the AE92 GT-S (1988-1992) works on your FX. It's front drive like your car and uses the same engine and tranny. Here's a link to give you an idea of what engine swaps you can do.

The choices I gave you were common ones but there are others on the link I've given you that are even better. A 3SGTE in a Corolla? That swap starts at as little as 200 hp- almost double what you have now and yours is no slouch.

yeah the 4AG's up to 89 are the same, but the 90's and 91' are the smallport highcomp which is the faster of the 4AG's that isnt force inducted that was available in north america, if you decide to go 20V thats a whole other bag of potatoes, some parts are interchangeable from the 16valve, but other than that you're part hunting solo. toysport does have a bunch of stuff for those 20valvers though, so ive heard.

check around on club4ag, there tends to be engines coming up for sale fairly regularly. there is also a decent FWD 4age community there that can help you. certain things like some suspension bits, alot of engine parts, trannies, etc, will be interchangeable between the later gen corollas and yours.

Tweak suspension, good tires and you'll already have a killer auto-x car. It's nimbleness is where the FX16 shines. Unfortunately the FX16 was availble only for two years, its old, so there's very little bolt on aftermarket designed for it. On the upside, you've got a unique car that very few other people have or know about. There's one Australian, SuperPro I think, company that makes complete poly suspension bushings for the FX16. I forget who the US distributor is at the moment, a well known name. Headers you can use ones made for AE92. Clutch & flywheel you can use anything for AE92 up to the last gen Celica and MRS. Intake you'll have to rig your own. Struts are a bit of a challenge, but I think there is still one company making a coilover set for the FX16.
