Hey i wanna do this conversion but i dont know all the things i need or how to over come some problems ie the 4AGZE is fwd and my ke70 in rwd and what gear box could i use that is strong but not too expensive any help or ifno would be really apreciated..
hey, i'm just curious as to why you chose the 4AGZE? being in Australia, you can prolly obtain the 3TGTE much easier than us. anyways, as far as i know you can use the T50 tranny on a ZE motor to go FR. it's been done but the problem is that your car might be a little heavier, not sure about that, so i would get a bigger displacement motor like a 1.8 or a 2.0L motor. but that's just me....goodluck!

hey micro214_kp61 a ke70 is almost exactly the same as a ae86 it only weighs 950kg-1000kg and a 4AGZE is a almost bolt in job well i herd, all you need is the parts ie new rwd inlet and manifold and all rwd pumps , the t50 is a wussy box that i cant thrash and a 4AGZE is just as easy to get as anyother engine

dude, i'm not trying to bash the ZE. not at all! it's a fast motor no doubt. the only reason i said to try the 3TGTE is because you don't have to do as much fabrication, just like what 4Aaron GE said. also, i've been to a couple of forums in Australia and a buncha guys are telling me that it's not hard to get 'em 3TGTE motors there in Australia. so i envy you guys. but you are right that the ZE is newer so there's more parts available, no arguing there....
...but one thing that a 4AGZE doesn't have is the two spark plugs per cylinder set-up. hehehe!
look, it sits nicely on a K body (KE10)...hehe!
