Question 20v swap in ae86?

this may be a stupid question but I was wondering will the 20v black top swap into the ae86. Ive always loved the ae86 and Ive grown to love the blacktop so how hard is it to do if its do-able? and if its not able to be done than what would be the best swap for the most power in the ae86. btw I already have an ae92 sr5 and am also wondering would it be easier to swap the blacktop into this instead and mabye try something like a supra motor in the ae86? but I have a feeling that that is near impossible. my apologies if these questions are a bit newb but I have great respect for the yotas and I want to know from the experts whats the best direction to head in in order to get the most out of both chassis.
I guess my question is which is better for the 20v blacktop (ive always had a thing for natural aspiration) and for the other what is the best boosted swap. thanks guys!

Almost anything is doable with enough time & money. The BT has been swapped into AE86s many times. Do a search & you should find info. Off the top of my head the things you have to overcome is the water coolant routing, rewiring, moding to fit or relocate distributor, headers.

thanks for an answer. But the real quesion was would it be more ideal to swap the bt into the ae86 or ae92. Obviously anything can be don't with unlimited time and money but is it ideal. So here is another question what's the most popular swap for the ae86? I have searched but all the swap guides I've come across are either a list of engines with no reference as to what chassis they will swap into or I have fund threads about man a" putting engine b" in car c". And most of the time engine b" or car c" are vastly unapealing to me. What do they do wit these things in japan? Atleast have the curtosy to tell me m a noob. This no responce $hit ruins the sence of comnunity. I've never belonged to a board where people ignore questions like this.

4th Generation

AE92 all the way, it is much easier to put a 20v in an AE92, but it is possible, and has been done in an AE86, im in the middle of my AE86 swap with a 4A-GZE, it really depends what engine you would like to swap in it and your knowledge, and its not impossible to swap a supra engine into an 86', it has also been done, Hell theres AE86's with Lexus V8's in em(1UZ-FE), so really it all depends on you,

is there a site that has info on these swaps?? because Ive found very little here and am very interested I just saw a nice ae86 for 600neg on craigslist but before I buy I want to know what Im getting into. Ive already started the mods to the ae92 and to have 2 going at once is a little crazy so Im doing as much research as I can. thanks for the info I figured the bt would go into the 92 easier being that it came from a fwd. and I already asked this in the ae92 forum but does anyone know what leather seats I can swap into the 86 or the 92??? thanks in advance guys. I guess there just isnt many people left in this forum anymore.

http://www.club4ag.com/technical_main.htm

thanks for the link ! I just find the stock cloth seats horribly uncomfortable. I was thinkin mabye just gettin a set of brides but that might be even more uncomfortable. considering a 4agze swap and goin turbo with it.
